16.54 CRORE VACCINE DOSES GRANTED TO STATES AND UNION TERRITORIES BY GOI.  COMPLETELY FREEBIE  BY GOI AS ASSURED.


GOVERNMENT OF INDIA is playing a key role in taking care of  the stocks of Vaccines with States and Union Territories  in order to maintain normality at vaccine centers. Few states have been affected by Corona Second Wave badly. Need of Vaccines at the earliest is more as per the reports given by States.

Few States and Union Territories have existing stocks of vaccine to be given to its residents as per eligibility and need to take care of the vaccine drive to ensure that stocks are completely utilized without any wastage of doses.

In coming couple of days States and Union Territories will receive another 60 lakh doses approximately from GOI to safeguard the lives form Corona.


Government of India is doing a task of leading member in the family to fight against the Covid-19 Pandemic. Vaccination to all citizens at the earliest is the key for combating the covid second wave. In order to complete the task perfectly GOI has sent 16.54 Crores Doses of Vaccine to the states and union territories. GOI is aslo keeping an eye on all the states to maintain adequate stocks of vaccines so that any emergency should not arise. Containment of Pandemic is only possible when all the forces join hands and work collectively with coordination.

Phase - 3 vaccination drive has been started from 1st may2021 and registrations for vaccines are being accepted from 28th april'2021. Vaccine now liberalized to age category of majors. Age group of 18-45 are considered for vaccination in the phase-3 drive.  There were few wastages of vaccine doses in the phase 1 and phase 2 but now GOI has taken measures to control the vaccine dose wastages.
