WhatsApp payments - receive and send money during chat being on same app - money transfer as easy as sending message

 WHATSAPP PAYMENTS 

WhatsApp Payment Services started. Now users can enjoy the services of receiving money and sending money on the same app where he is chatting with Parents, friends, relatives, clients, customers, etc.,

WhatsApp payment services can be activated if the user has a valid/active bank account linked to his mobile/whatsapp number. Add the bank account to Whatsapp upi id and enjoy the services of sending and receiving money from any UPI id apps available.


ADDING A BANK ACCOUNT / ADDING PAYMENT METHOD PROCEDURE:

1) TAP MORE OPTIONS 

(Vertical three dots visible on the top right side corner of the app screen)

2) Select Payments option > Add new account/payment method

3) Accept the payment terms and conditions/policies on the app to proceed with the bank account adding process.

4) Select your bank account available on the whatsapp from the list of banks that supports UPI payments. 

5) Allow permissions to verify your number via SMS to bank account.  

6) Once confirmed the bank account is added to the whatsapp >tap done> Now transactions like sending and receiving money can be done with ease.

A great news for users is that payment services on whatsapp are provided completely free/no fees is levied for the payment services.

WhatsApp never registers the bank account number and upi pin set for transactions. UPI Pin has to be given for each and every single transaction to be made. 

WhatsApp payments are between the bank accounts of users for transfer of money. Money is directly credited into bank account without the wallet system.

BHIM UPI is the gateway used by whatsapp for money transfer and processing of payments is done by the registered payment partners in India.

Sending money and receiving money is as simple as sending and receiving a message. Make a payment using whatsapp payment and immediately inform the transaction status in the same message chat with your chat person. 

Money sent or received transactions history can be verified/checked in the past transactions list if required at a later date.
