 N.V. RAMANA ASCENDED THE SUPREME COURT'S HIGHEST PEDESTAL AS THE FORTY EIGHTH TH CHIEF JUSTICE OF INDIA


Judge N.V. RAMANA name was proposed for appointment as CJI by former Chief Justice of India SA BOBDE. Indian Union Government considered and approved the proposal with great honor towards the vision and fidelity of former CJI. 47th Chief Justice of India SA BOBDE retired on 23/04/2021. 

By the approval of Indian Government and the sworn in process held at Rastrapathi Bhavan on 24/04/2021, Judge Nuthalapathi Venkata Ramana has become the 48th Chief Justice of India. 

N.V. Ramana served various High Courts in India. He was Chief Justice of Delhi High Court and Andhra Pradesh High Court and pronounced many land mark judgements during his tenure.

N.V. Ramana took birth at Poonavaram Village located in Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh. Telugu language being the mother tongue with other fluency in other languages is his asset as he is graduated from well renowned universities.  

CJI is from one of the Telugu speaking states and surely this is a great honor for Telegu speaking persons and Two Telegu states. 

CJI N.V. Ramana being one among us reached to the greatest admirable position and also inspired us that any one can achieve results if dedication and consistency are their weapons.
