VIVAD SE VISHWAS PAYMENT OF AMOUNT CAN BE DONE UPTO 30TH JUNE'2021 WITHOUT ANY FURTHER ATTRACT OF ADDITIONAL AMOUNT

Govt of India - Ministry of Finance - Department of Revenue - Central Board of Direct Taxes has extended time for payment of amount on account of Vivad Se Vishwas scheme till 30th June'2021. Previously given last date for payment is going to expire on 30th April' 2021 but due to the surge in covid cases in the country at present and taxpayers are facing many difficulties in performing timely actions and make payments. Various representations were made to the ministry by stakeholders to the consider the situation and extend the deadlines. Ministry considering all the hurdles faced by the taxpayers has acted in favour of requests and extended the deadlines for payment of assessed scheme amount without any additional amounts being charged.    


Along with the extension of Vivas Se Viswas act payment amount deadline there are some other sections too for which extension of deadlines would be applicable. A Press Release is made public for the time limits extension by respective authority. A copy Press Release dated 24th April'2021 is here below for your knowledge. Notification shall follow by this press release soon. 

Thanks to the Ministry for the cordial cooperation extended to the taxpayers and stakeholders in the times of hardship being faced. May the cooperation be continued by Ministry as long as the taxpayers shall overcome the Covid situation.

Vishakhapatnam will retain a page in the Indian History as Naval Dockyard place is selected to host the ceremony of INS RAJPUT services discontinuation on 21May21.  INS Rajput is an Indian Navy Ship served as destroyer for almost 4 decades with its capability in the Navy.
