People without prescribed ID cards also are entitled to get vaccinated. A great move taken in favour of these people by GOI

PEOPLE WITH NO PROPER ID CARDS PRESCRIBED IN CO-WIN REGISTRATION SITE ARE ALSO ENTITLED TO BE VACCINATED.

Every Citizen and Resident of Country are Eligible to be vaccinated in the process of fighting with the Covid-19. Country would become disease free only when each resident is given vaccine if he or she is residing in the country irrespective of their identity validity. Our country in the process of fighting the pandemic wants to vaccinate all its residents at the earliest. Vaccine drives are being conducted in the fast pace as per schedule. Soon residents of every age category are considered for vaccine giving. 

At the outset Governments have put a restriction to the residents that Co-win registration is mandatory for the vaccination process.  Co-win registration process can be completed only when there is a valid mobile number and Valid Identity card with the resident. Without Co-win registration vaccine is not given to the citizens. There are some prescribed ID cards in the Co-win site with which an individual can get himself/herself registered for Vaccine dose. System is designed in the way that vaccines are given in phased manner and accordingly senior citizens were the priority persons eligible to get vaccine.  Country was successful to maximum percentage in vaccine giving at prior phase and Non-senior citizens are being considered for vaccines now i.e., age group of eighteen to forty five years. Any major of the country is eligible to get vaccine now with condition that he/she should register with Co-win site to get their dose. 

Process of vaccination is successfully going on as versioned by Governments. Few State Governments and Union Territories have offered free vaccine to the respective residents. Hope in another 3 to 6 months vaccination drives would reach saturation with the maximum residents of country participation.  But this process being followed now has given rise to a problem that few people will be leftover without vaccinated if the Co-win registration, Availability of valid ID card, Valid Mobile number rules are kept  mandatory for a long period. Our Country is a large populated one and there may be thousands of people without proper ID cards and valid mobile number be it any groups like religious sadhus, saints, beggarman and beggarwomen, prisoners, residents living in old age homes, mentally retarded and rehabilitated persons, or any other special group of people. These people may not posses the required mandated things for vaccine but are still residents of country so are considered for vaccine giving with special measures. 

This issue aroused is also being resolved by Government with some specialized measures. SOPs are being issued for State Governments and Union Territories to tackle this issue. Responsibility is kept on states and union territories to identify such groups and prepare a report soon to arrange a special vaccine drive for these people too. Without giving vaccine to these people government cannot say the vaccine giving is completed to the residents in the country. Authorities will be assigned to take care of the process with high alertness at all stages. These authorities should identify the key persons of the groups and proceed with the process of vaccine giving using the credentials of the key persons of the groups. Co-win site would be updated soon according to the requirements to accept multiple persons for vaccine with the registration of key person credentials. Only condition in this is this kind of facility will be available only at Government approved covid vaccination centers. 

Soon we are going to witness the pandemic free country with the measures being by GOI. Till then wearing masks, sanitizing hands frequently, maintaining distance to others are the precautionary measures to be followed by Residents.
