IT Returns for AY 2021-22 (FY 2020-21) filing date extended till 31/12/2021

 INCOME TAX RETURNS FILING DATE EXTENDED TILL 31ST DECEMBER'2021


Government of India/MOF/DOR/CBDT has offered consolation/relaxation to taxpayers & other Stakeholders again by extending the due date of returns filing. Returns filing due date is extended till 31/12/2021. 

Assessment year 2021-2022 (Previous year 2020-2021) due date for filing the return was 31/07/2021 and due to the change of website and other issues faced by taxpayers the date for furnishing the return is extended till 30/09/2021.  

The due date for filing the Income Tax return is being elongated till 31/12/2021. 

The due date for filing the Report of Audit is being elongated till 15/01/2022. 

The due date for filing the  belated/revised Income tax return is being elongated till 31/03/2022.

The above elongated dates are distinctly specified in the circular no.17 released on 09/09/2021. 


Many other dates relating to filings under the Income tax Act are also elongated considering the practical issues faced by the taxpayers in filing the returns. 

New website introduced for filing the returns of Income tax would become technically perfect from all glitches soon as per Statement released by Ministry of Finance.

  REVISED CRITERIA FOR MSME UDYAM REGISTRATION TURNOVER LIMITS INCREASED FOR MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES Business enterprises shall be categorized as a micro, small, medium business enterprise on the basis of the following revised criteria.
