 REVISED CRITERIA FOR MSME UDYAM REGISTRATION


TURNOVER LIMITS INCREASED FOR MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES


Business enterprises shall be categorized as a micro, small, medium business enterprise on the basis of the following revised criteria. Criteria is reproduced for your information below

(i) a micro enterprise, where the investment in plant and machinery or equipment does not exceed (one)  1crore rupees and turnover does not exceed (five) 5 crore rupees;
(ii) a small enterprise, where the investment in plant and machinery or equipment does not exceed (ten) 10  crore rupees and turnover does not exceed (fifty) 50  crore rupees; and
(iii) a medium enterprise, where the investment in plant and machinery or equipment does not exceed (fifty) 50  crore rupees and turnover does not exceed (two hundred and fifty) 250 crore rupees.
